Overview

Our ocean covers the majority of Earth’s surface and contains most of the species' diversity. Learn how these species interact with each other but also with their physical environment and participate in advanced lab classes and workshops during this program. You will delve into the invertebrate Lab by probing for living animals among kelp holdfasts and mussel beds. In this adventure, you will explore the biology and ecology of marine communities and illustrate research techniques and equipment that marine biologists commonly use. In addition to classroom time, you will dive to explore the environments studied in classes. All these scientific activities are deeply embedded in the fantastic southern European summer where you're going to surf beautiful waves and enjoy unique cultural experiences and relaxing moments.
