Located in central continental Portuguese coast, Peniche is famous for the magnificent beaches of the entire coast, perfect to practicing water sports, to the majestic natural patrimony of Berlenga Island Marine Reserve.

Depending on the chosen program students use the teaching/laboratory facilities in CETEMARES - Peniche, at CIIMAR - Porto and at A Graña Marine Biology Station - A Coruña. These research institute offers top quality lecture rooms and laboratories where students also have the opportunity to explore all the different lines of marine research that are developed in these research centres.
